Whether it is starting a dancing class or meeting new friends, there is this feeling that comes when you are about to start something new, it can be exciting and frightening at the same time. Exciting because it can grow up to become very big and frightening as you are not even sure if you will do well in it.
In our everyday monotonous life, it is very easy to follow the trend of doing the same things over and over again and so we feel very nervous when we think of trying something new and eventually putting it to actions, because of this, we normally shy away from changing things which can be harmful to our personal developments.

You can not know if you will be good at something if you have not tried it,and you might eventually find out that you a very good dancer or a great chess player.

Most of the time, we think we know the nitty gritty about a subject or an activity but by the time we get into it, we discover it is totally different from what we knew and it helps us to broaden our knowledge.
3. It can help you to make some money
When you learn a new skills or a new language, you can make money from it on the long run especially when you become an expert in that field.
4. It also gives you a fresh sense of purpose
Sometimes because we do a thing over and over again, it becomes boring and we begin to feel worthless and tired. So what do you do?? Do something new as this will give you a fresh sense of purpose and worth.
5. It help you over come your fear
Starting something new can help you build your confidence and fight fear which eventually benefits you in all areas of your life.

1. Start exercising if you have not started-You can always start a simple exercise like jogging, leg kicks or even skipping.
2. Learn a foreign language- You can start by learning new words everyday and using these words when speaking to your friends.
3. Meet new people- you always meet people either at your workplace, place of worship or even when taking your dog for a walk.
4. Learn a new skills- there are several skills you can learn e.g cooking, painting and so on.
5. Prepare a dish you have not tried before- you can ask a friend to teach you or watch a video on youtube.
