WHAT REALLY IS LOVE?

What really is love???

What really is love

Love love love... this is a four letter word that is said everyday in different circumstances: the mother speaking to her son, the love struck young boy to his partner, the guest speaker to his listeners, the preacher speaking about God. Everyone actually have a definition of love.. but really, what is love or better still what should love be?

Dictionary will tell us that love is having deep affection for someone, but love is much more than just these complex grammars, love is more than just the feelings, but is much in the act, love is not about the saying but in the doing.

Love is commitment...holding on ... never giving up... not looking back... still believing...not faltering...

Love is pain... enduring... tolerating... accepting...forgiving...

Love is sacrifice... giving it all... not holding back... not expecting returns...

Love comes with a price...a price paid by the giver not the receiver....going against the natural order of law...

Love is forgiving...no matter how many times, still forgiving...

Love does not fail... Love believes the best of you...Love is everything...

Love is protective... Looking out for you... Covering up your mistakes...

Love is giving... Love is far more than passion... Far more than the butterflies in the belly...

What really is love

The affection from a parent to a child is the best definition of love even though they might not say it but they act it (sometimes unconsciously) and that is what love is all about. Showing love is giving without expecting anything back, helping people without hidden motives.

In summary LOVE IS HARD...
